Inclusive development cooperation

Inclusive development cooperation can make an important contribution to improving the living conditions of people with disabilities.

bezev is therefore committed in different ways to making German development cooperation inclusive. An inclusive approach to development cooperation is of great importance for people with disabilities in Asia, Africa and Latin America in order to improve their living conditions, which are characterised by poverty, exclusion and deprivation in the majority of cases.

The UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities is also a milestone for development cooperation, as it obliges international cooperation - including development cooperation - to make all its measures inclusive. This obligation has also applied to German development cooperation since 2009.
