Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss

This objective aims to contribute to the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity and ecosystems. It aims to promote the sustainable management of all forest types, ensure the conservation of mountain ecosystems and combat desertification.

Every individual – including people with impairments/disabilities – can contribute to this goal by acting responsibly themselves, e.g. by not buying protected plant or animal species and/or by politically campaigning for the protection of ecosystems and biodiversity to be anchored, for example, in development processes at international and national level.
