Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages

By 2030, the health situation worldwide is to be seriously improved. This includes the significant reduction of maternal mortality, the elimination of AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria and neglected tropical diseases.

It also aims to improve universal health coverage so that all people have access to quality essential health services and safe, effective, quality and affordable medicines and vaccines. Since many people with impairments/disabilities do not yet have adequate access to health services and are not sufficiently taken into account in preventive measures, this goal is very important for them. They should therefore be specifically taken into account in implementation measures, which include barrier-free and inclusive design of measures, including the necessary measures of rehabilitation as well as equipment with necessary aids.
