Goal 8

Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all

In addition to the goal of sustainable economic growth, the aim is to increase economic productivity and resource efficiency in consumption and production, and to decouple economic growth from environmental degradation.

To create more decent jobs and achieve full and productive employment and decent work for all women and men, including young people and people with disabilities, with equal pay for work of equal value by 2030. By 2020, significantly reduce the proportion of young people who are out of work and not in education or training. As persons with impairment/disability are still significantly disadvantaged in the labour market, their inclusion is of great importance in the implementation of full employment and decent work policies. However, they must also be taken into account in measures for young people whose schooling or vocational training is to be improved.
