bezev organises conferences on various topics of development cooperation.

In addition to organising thematically diverse conferences, be it on the topic of inclusive urban development or Agenda 2030, bezev is also keen to document the presentations and results of the conferences and make them publicly available. In this way, bezev would like to focus on the topic of inclusion in development cooperation and create exchange and networking on the topic of inclusion.

On 3rd and 4th May 2012, the international conference 'From Local to Global. Community Based Rehabilitation - A Strategy for Implementing Inclusive Development' took place in Bonn, Germany.

From 3rd to 4th February 2011, bezev, Caritas international, Kindernothilfe and the Kindermissionswerk 'Die Sternsinger' organised the international conference 'Inclusive Early Childhood Development - An Underestimated Building Block of Poverty Reduction', which took place at the Gustav Stresemann Institute in Bonn. In workshops and presentations, more than 90 participants addressed the importance of early childhood development for human development and poverty reduction and discussed how the field of early childhood development can be strengthened in development cooperation.

7th to 8th November 2007 in Bonn: People with disabilities are among the most vulnerable groups in the humanitarian field and are affected more than others by disaster situations. Due to their lack of consideration in evacuation plans and lack of access to emergency relief and shelter, people with disabilities are very limited in their ability to cope with emergencies.
