Actors

In German development cooperation, there are various actors who are intensively involved in inclusion strategies for people with disabilities in international cooperation.

BMZ

The Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) is a supreme authority responsible for German development cooperation (DC). To ensure that the work of the BMZ can guarantee the rights of the UN CRPD, the ministry develops inclusion strategies to include persons with disabilities in the work of organisations involved in German development cooperation.
