Bezev's Advocacy work

bezev has been politically active for many years. Especially in the area of German and international cooperation (especially at the level of the United Nations) and in the area of inclusive voluntary services, bezev is committed to strengthening the rights of people with disabilities.

By participating in the Post 2015 process, which aimed to define new goals for the global community, the inclusion of people with disabilities was strengthened and substantially anchored in the 2030 Agenda and the sustainability goals. Now it is important that the goals are also implemented. bezev is committed to this in various ways at national and international level and is regularly consulted on special topics by German government institutions due to its many years of expertise in the field of inclusion and development cooperation.

Bezev advocates the rights of people with disabilities worldwide.

Creating structures for inclusive voluntary commitment

Networking with other organisations is an essential part of the political work.

Already since 2012 bezev has been committed to the participation of people with disabilities in the field of foreign engagement and voluntary services. By pointing out and documenting barriers, bezev continuously contributed to their removal.

The 2030 Agenda

On 25 September, the UN General Assembly adopted the 2030 Agenda, an action plan for the people, the planet and prosperity. At the same time as the Agenda, 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted to address the major social, economic and environmental challenges facing humanity by 2030.
