Creating the legal framework for inclusion in voluntary foreign commitments

In order for people with disabilities to be able to get involved abroad on an equal legal base, bezev advocates an improvement of the legal framework within the framework of comprehensive political work, which currently prevents or significantly complicates the involvement of people with disabilities abroad.

The focus of the political work so far has been both the existing legislation and the Participation Benefits Act, in the development of which the aim was to improve the legal framework. Due to further numerous obstacles bezev remains still active, in order to achieve a safety of achievements of the participation, integration assistance and care in the (foreign) commitment as well as also during another foreign stay for the purpose of education and work.

Within the framework of this political work, various debt documents were drawn up together with other agencies responsible for foreign commitments/voluntary services and numerous political discussions were held with responsible persons from parliament and the Bundestag.

Bezev is also committed to breaking down legal barriers.
